Qualy at Fehring: A real competition until the very last second

Gustafsson takes it with the last points result tie breaker
A really intense afternoon.

The Q3 has been won by Robert Gustafsson while Agrafiotis was second so that the greek needs a victory at Q4 but he also needs that the swedish driver dont make a second overall in the last attemp.

Been said that, the Mugen greek driver Kostas Agrafiotis has made a perfect run and settled down the best time of the day at group 5 with 8 laps in 5:19:008, more than half a second faster than the best time of the swedish driver. His part of the job seemed to be done.

But we still have to see on the very last group the race of Robert Gustafsson, he didnt make a good start and that compromise his performance and by half of its racing time he was not leading his group, but he made an incredible effort and recovered himself to finish second overall with 5:23:520, so that he tied the first discarding result with the greek and to solve the tie EFRA has to look to th 4th result in points before looking to best laps and time.

This is were the drama is: although the XML version of Myrcm says one thing, the real EFRA rules say a different one and the program does correctly at html side but unfortunately not at XML and so that causing a small confussion.

Sunday morning update: reloading of the results after changing to the correct rule and problem solved.

Excellent from MYRCM 🙂 !!!.

Tie breaker are the next best roundS points score, (please do note the plural for "rounds") see rule 2.4 at page 99 of 2014 EFRA Handbook, and only after all rounds had been taken into consideration we look for laps and times.

Anyhow impressive performance from both of them and as well from the rest of the drivers with 7 different EFRA member countries with representatives at the semifinal level.

Tomorrow we will start with the finals by 9:00 a.m.
