The first ever Euro over 40 is running now at Longvic

Our last European Championship of the year is the brand new Euro +40, its debut is this weekend at the Mini Racing Club Longvicien.
Our last event of the season is the new baby inside the friendly class, the +40 one.
With 69 drivers present at Longvic, nearby Dijon, central France, I must say that the ambience is excellent.
Everyone here is doing a good job, even the weather seems to be going to its better mood for RC Racing. Thursday night the rain was present, but weather changed qnd the EXCELLENT work done by this great club MRCL helped to enjoy friday practice in a nearly dry track.
A reasonable number of drivers helped everyone to have more practice runs so at the end of the day all drivers were happy.
Today, Saturday, is qualifying day, the first round has been run and provisional results place 2 Sebastien named guys on the top: Sebastien Leonard and Sebastien Wartelle, followed pretty close by Stephane Deroch and british driver Tommy Chung.
11 drivers have been able to make 8 laps to this challenging and plenty of fun track with the 12 position for the swede Cedric Cederberg with engine problems when he was making his 8th lap.
Best times are 8 laps in 5:30 with 10 drivers within 10 seconds.
The race can be followed live at the club web site:
