Qualifying - Round 4 Results

Cragg Secures Front Row Start
British driver Neil Cragg has taken the TQ points from Round 4 here in Pau. The day, which was delayed by 1 hour following overnight rain, now continues as light rain continues to fall. As a result of the rain, the track has slowed down considerably, with the top drivers now around half a lap slower than the hot and dusty conditions of yesterday.

Behind Neil, fellow Brit Lee Martin again finished second, with Jorn Neumann (car pictured) scoring another third place finish.

Behind these three, another British driver Ellis Stafford placed his Orion powered buggy fourth in the round. Rene Trauner (Austria) backed up his round 3 score with another fifth place, followed by fellow Austrian Hupo Honigl.

This now means that Neil Cragg moves back to the top of the timesheets and is guarenteed a starting place of second or better. He can now only be beaten to pole by Lee Martin or Jorn Neumann, but they will need to win the final round to be able to secure the number 1 sticker on their car for the 3-leg A Finals.
Lee currently sits second overall ahead of Jorn, with Paul Bradby fourth and Rene in fifth.Ellis holds sixth currently with Austrians Peter Pinisch seventh and Hupo now eighth. Tom Yardy is ninth and Armand Lantheaume completes the current top 10.

But with one round still to run, both the overall pole position and a place in the A Final is still far from settled. Stay tuned to www.EFRA.ws for all the news!
