Balestri holds on to TQ..... just!

Qualifying Round 2 update from Luxembourg
Under clear blue skies the second round of qualifying at the 1/8th Track EFRA Euros has now been completed.

Dario Balestri encountered problems in his run and didn't improve his time. However, he holds on to the top position after Robert Pietsch put a better run together but missed Dario's round 1 time by just 0.3 seconds. Robert said he encountered traffic on his run which prevented him from beaeting Dario's time. He also had switched to harder shock oil but feels it was the wrong way to go. He believes the track will remain consistent enough to allow him to challenge Dario in the last two rounds

With much better track conditions this morning, most of the drivers improved their times. Eric Dankel stays third, around 3 seconds behind the leading pair. He said he is very happy with third place and does not think he will be able to match the speed of Dario and Robert, who he thinks will dominate the rest of the racing here.

Michele Romagnoli moves into fourth place, with Robin D'Hondt sitting fifth
Completing the top 10 are Tobias Hepp (DE), Walter Salemi (IT), Lamberto Collari (IT), Kyle Branson (UK, Car pictured), and John Ermen (NL). But with no direct qualifiers any longer, everyone will have to race at least a semi-final to get into the main final, which takes place late on Saturday afternoon.
