1/8th Track - Qualifying Round 1 |
| Who's quickest in the opening round? |
 Round 1 of qualifying here in Luxembourg has been completed. It was not without incident, however, as a shower of rain arrived half way through disrupting the track conditions for drivers in the middle heats.But by the time the top heats lined up the track was dry again and it was Italy's Dario Balestri that set the fastest time from defending champion, Robert Pietsch. Dario said he was pretty happy with his car and doesn't plan to make any changes for tomorrow. |
 Pietsch made a mistake entering the pit lane but believes he has the speed in the car to challenge Dario tomorrow.Heading Xray's first ever 1/8th European Championship assault is German Eric Dankel, 3rd in round 1. Behind Eric, Alberto Picco sits fourth with Oliver Mack in fifth. Former European Champ Adrien Bertin is 6th, with Simon Kurzbuch, Lamberto Collari, Michael Salven and Michele Romagnoli rounding out the top ten. |
