| Once again, the top 6 drivers in this race would move up to race in the Final, so it was very important to do well! The combined racing times of the top 6 racers in each of the 1/2 Finals would determine their starting positions in the Final. |
 The starting order:
1 SANDBERG Marcus, SE;
2 HEBERT Guillaume, FR;
3 KELLER Carsten, DE;
4 WOLLANKA Martin, AT;
5 NAVARRO CUENCA Albert, ES;
6 NAVARRO LATORRE Francisco, ES;
7 TRUMAN Tony, GB;
8 MUELA Vicente, ES;
9 ROBIN Tom, FR;
10 AFFOLTER Christoph, CH;
11 PITTET Jeremy, CH;
12 CORDTS Maximilian, DE |
 Marcus was able to get out ahead of the chasing pack and let the rest of the drivers battle and slow each other down - he pulled out a huge lead over second place Guillame, with Carsten a few seconds behind him.
Halfway through the race, Martin had moved into second, and Tony was able to move up to fourth and then third ahead of Albert - a problem forced Carsten off the track, losing him precious positions. Francisco moved up into fifth and Vicente in sixth, the crucial bump-up spots into the A Final.

 With two minutes left in the race, Marcus was still in front, chased down by bump-up men Albert and Tony in 2nd and 3rd. Francsisco had moved up to fourth with Tom in fifth and Guillame in sixth.
At the end of the race, the order was as follows:

3 Tony Truman, GB;
4 Francisco Navarro Latorre, ES;
5 Tom Robin, FR;
