 Marco Stettler from Switzerland started from pole and managed to maintain a position in the leading pack in the first half of the race. Nuno Casal Ribeiro from Portugal and Jorge Soler Diaz occupied first and second at the halfway point, with bump-up racer Jean-Marc Lacheze chasing hard in fourth. With just a few minutes to go Jean-Marc moved into third, shifting fellow Frenchman Arnaud Mirete as Marco dropped down to 6th place. Jorge Soler Diaz from Spain fought his way to front place in the closing minutes, with Jean-Marc just behind. Nuno held third and Arnaud fourth with 2 minutes to go. The final order was Jorge with the win, Nuno in second, Jean-Marc then Arnaud in fourth, the only racers to make 28 laps. |
