 Pole position man Michael Lewis from Great Britain led away the racers, with Robert Raphael from Belgium and Costas Agrafotis following close behind. Bump-ups Brennan Ralls and Cedric Nickel were struggling in the early parts of the race but had moved up to 5th and 7th places respectively by the middle of the 20-minute race. Just after the mid-race pit stops, Cedric pulled off the track with a problem and with five minutes left the top 3 order was Robert, Michael and Costas. Brennan had worked himself into 4th by this time, then with a minute remaining had moved into third. On the very last lap he tried a pass, got tangled up with the top 3 racers and fell to fourth, behind Costas in first, Michael in second and Robert in third. |
