| 'bump up' drivers that have made it to the semi finals |
 The first notable bump up is the podium finishing 1:10th driver from the recent B Championships Rene Pupke who would have no doubt made it much further up the qualifying table but for a bodyshell disqualification losing him his fastest time. He's not let that stop him, bumping up through the ⅛ and ¼ finals he will be 9th on the grid in the Semi final A - Clearly, overtaking will not be a problem for him! Also in the Semi final B Belgian driver William Lefevre (pictured) made a similar journey from his 1/8th final qualification. He said he was delighted with how the day was going!
Earlier on in the day Swiss driver Christopher Biernat looked to become the 'bump up king' after qualifying in the 1/128th final and progressing through the 1/64 and 1/32 before tragically crashing out in the 1/16 final.
