1/10 IC Track B Euros: Qualifying Done!

Penultimate day draws to a close
The 1:10 IC Track B Euros are definitely well underway this evening with qualifying complete, opening ceremony done and the 1/64 A and B finals over. Saturday will be an action packed day where we will see a new B Champion!
Taking TQ is local man and XRay driver, Pedro Rombouts, who like many secured his best time in heat two when the track was cooler. Although Pedro still has a lot to do tomorrow now the qualifying rules for 1:10 IC have changed meaning no guaranteed final places. Yes, it's quite possible that the TQ man doesn't see the final! Though he's fairly laid back, admitting he knows the track well and just hopes to win the Semi A and then go steady for the final.
Heading up the semi B final is German Thomas Gunsel, Thomas was around a second slower but remains confident for tomorrow, Behind Thomas is Brit, Adam Catchpole (pictured) who peaked in heat two and struggled in the next two heats with tyres and a broken glow plug, but luckily for him - with the increased heat very few drivers managed to improve today.
As we look to tomorrow, it seems, perhaps team XRay have a secret weapon in the form of former Euro B and A Champ Dirk Wischnewski, who though as an A licence holder is ineligible to drive is still on hand to support others with his mechanics expertise. Check back for the video update coming soon!
