4WD Qualifying Underway |
| Lee Martin TQ's Round 1..... just! |
 Round one of qualifying is now complete here at the 4WD Off Road Euros. It was the newly crowned 2WD champion Lee Martin who set the fastest time in this opening session, but by only 5 hundredths of a second from Jorn Neumann. Jorn, running in the next heat to Lee, said he was on track to beat Lee's benchmark until he lost a small amount of time whilst lapping a back marker |
 Paul Bradby, running in the heat before Lee, had initially set the quickest time with a fast 13 lap run, but Lee showed he was going for the double this week and pushed the bar higher with a 14 lap run |
 Paul's time was still good enough for third in the round, with Hupo Honigl ruing a small mistake which left him fourth overall, ahead of Neil Cragg in fifth, defending Champion Marc Rheinard sixth, Peter Pinisch seventh, Martin Kriel eighth, Simon Moss ninth and Nathan Ralls tenth |
 Three more rounds of qualifying are scheduled for today, with the last round to be run on Saturday morning. A drivers best 2 scores will count for the overall places, so there is still plenty of time for the order to change |
