Finals continue in Italy

Report of the 1/16 Finals
Seemingly becoming a running theme for RC Racing this weekend, the hot temperatures are leading to hot action on the track as drivers rise to the challenge of tricky track conditions.
The 1/16 B Final saw Swedish driver Marcus Lindner taking the victory. He didn't have it all his own way though as only three seconds behind at the finish was Italian Gabriele Bovio. A further three seconds behind was Stephane Riccobono (France).

The unlucky fourth spot went to Nicola Marrone after bumping up from the lower finals, the Italian drivers day ending here despite setting some of the fastest laps in the race.
Pole position certainly seemed to be the place to start for the 1/16 Finals, as in the 'A' Final Anthoni Abisset (France) ran out the winner after starting from the top spot.

There was an even greater degree of similarity between the two races as the second place driver, Salvatore Sannia (Italy) was again only three seconds behind the winner at the end of the 20 minutes. Third was France's Serge Christiani, whilst Francisco Suarez, who had bumped up from the lower final, missed out on advancing again by less than one second
The 1/8 Finals are up next, with drivers hoping to keep moving up the ladder, eventually into the Semi's and possibly even the main Final, which is due to run later this afternoon. RC Racing TV will keep bring you updates throughout the day including interviews, reports and video highlights of that important European Championship Final.
