Sunday morning in Locorotondo

Today's finals begin under more hot conditions!
We arrived at the Lino Calella circuit to find more high temperatures and the pits rapidly filling up ready for the day's action.
First out on track today was the 1/32 B Final. Nicola Marrone led the final away from pole position and steadily built up a lead through the entire 20 minute race. The Italian driver finished over three laps clear of the field when the chequered flag fell. Behind, it was a much closer battle with second to fourth places split by only 9 seconds after intense action throughout.

Russia's Igor Toropchenkov crossed the line in second, with Alessandro Romano (Italy) third and Alberto Luciani (Monaco) unlucky to end up fourth and miss out on a chance to bump up to the 1/16 Final.
Following this was the 1/32 A Final. Spanish driver Francisco Suarez started second on the grid but some smooth driving and clean pit work allowed him to take the lead and win the final by just over a lap. Sweden's Christofer Hedlund moved from his fourth place starting spot to second position by the end of the race.

Pole sitter Fracesco Caminita (Italy) set the fastest lap early on in the race, but dropped down to finish third at the end of the race distance, but still good enough to advance up the Finals ladder. Stefan Anderson (Sweden) finished fourth.
