Semi Finals from Monaco

Last chance to make the main final in Monaco

The start of the B Semi Final saw Alberto Tedeschi (Italy) lead lap 1, but was soon passed by fellow Italian Andrea Ciurlante. LOcal drivers Stephane Van Poucke and Emanuele Comoglio both took brief stints in second place early in the race.
As the race passed half distance,the positions settled down, with Andrea leading, Alberto in second, Emanuele third and Maximilian Federmann (Germany) in fourth. With changes during the second half of the race only through pit stop sequences, the finishing order was;
1. Andrea Ciurlante (Mugen)
2. Alberto Tedeschi (Serpent)
3. Emanuele Comoglio (Motonica)
4. Maximilan Federmann (Mugen)

Andrea and Alberto qualify through to the main final, whilst Emanuele and Maximilan will have to wait to see if their times are quick enough.
The A Semi final saw drama before the race even started as Sabrina Lechner (Germany) called for a 10 minute interval. This meant she started from grid position 11. At the end of lap 1, pole sitter Phillip Sting (Germany) was leading with Stephane Riccobono (France) running second. As the race progressed, Sabrina moved up through the field and took over the lead at the 5 minute point. Gerard Colinet (France) had now moved to second and the pair traded places as their pit strategies played out.
Stephane dropped through the field after the first 5 minutes, but by the half way point was back to third. Rafat Zeljas (Poland) quietly worked his own way through the field and was sitting in fourth at this point.

With the race remaining fairly static, Sabrina held onto the first place spot. 1. Sabrina Lechner (Serpent)
2. Gerard Colinet (Serpent)
3. Stephane Riccobono (Serpent)
4. Rafat Zeljas (Shepherd).

Again, Sabrina and and Gerard are through to the final, whilst Stephane and Rafat waiting to see if they are fast enough.
