Saturday Ends With 1/64 Finals

Penultimate day of competition concludes with two very different finals!
The 1/64 B final started off with pole sitter Jeremie Freydier (France) taking an early lead, followed by Davide Giuliano up from 8th on the grid. Davide took the lead at the 10 minute mark which he held until the end of the race. Jeremie started experiencing problems at the final fuel stop, but managed to hold onto third place, thanks to a very high rate of attrition in this final.

Guillaume Parme managed to take second place by the end of the 20 minutes, despite having been running in the middle of the pack through the first half of the race. A large number of cars experienced problems during this final, leaving these three as the only cars running at the end.
Meanwhile, in the 1/64 A, a much busier race saw the top 6 cars covered by only a couple of laps at the end of the 20 minutes. In a race which saw many drivers take a turn at leading, it was eventually Wojtek Bukryj from Poland who took the win, with Marc Carpinelli continuing his upward journed by finishing second. Freidrich Debert (Germany) crossed the line in third place.

That concludes the on track action for today, join us again tomorrow at www.efra.ws for the remaining finals, leading up to the 45-minute Grand Final currently scheduled for 4pm local time.
