Wullyamoz takes qualifers by storm!

... and with the ever changing weather skill and versatility are the key!
After a slow start in the first round Frenchman Mathieu Wullyamoz put in a perfect performance finishing top of the next three rounds and clinching TQ. He claims not to have made any major setup changes just slight tyre alterations.
Guido Barbera is enjoying his first time competing at Lostallo's thrilling track but despite feeling unfamiliar with the layout, claiming to have only had 10 minutes practice due to the poor weather conditions over the last few days - Qualifying was clearly a success with him ranking 2nd place. The heats were not without problems for the Italian though, with a bad crash on the straight in the 3rd, Guido ran with a change in set up for the 4th and managed three first places and a fifth place.
... He's also feeling confident for the finals, with the experience of a recent 3rd place competing at the highest level in his home country. Guido also says regularly competing in 1 hour races means his concentration should help him do well and with the weather rumored to improve, he's, 'feeling lucky!'
Young Manuel Singer had a mixed qualification after topping the table at the end of round 1, he made a few mistakes but is happy overall with his 3rd place. It's easy to make mistakes on this exacting track and the weather has really played a part in how the qualifying rounds have shaped up.
Lower down the rankings is Brazilian Eduardo Dulac, representing Portugal. He looked promising early on with 2nd places in the first two qualifiers but his luck changed for the last two heats with major problems in the 4th which saw his wife / pit woman scramble to refit his belt.
...He remains positive though qualifying in seventh place, telling RC Racing, 'I just love this track, I had such a good day on friday, that last run was just bad luck, making the semi finals will only make me stronger.'
