EFRA 1/8th Off Road B European Championship Qualifying Results

A reversed order for qualifying today, with the quickest cars from Seeding practice going into heat one, dropping down to the slowest cars into heat twelve. Four rounds of qualifying were scheduled, with a driver taking their best two round scores for their overall position.
Andrea Trevisan set the fastest time from heat two in the first round, being one of the few drivers to break into the magical ninth lap. Mirko Belli took second in the round from Giuseppe Tescione.
Round two saw Marco Ravaglia go some nine seconds faster than his round one time in heat one, setting what would prove to the fastest run of the day - 9 laps in 5:26.063. Allesandro Castoldi moved himself into contention with second in round, with Andrea Trevisan backing up his round one win with fourth place, giving him two good scores after two rounds and putting himself into a strong position.
Mattia Polito became the third winner in three rounds in round three, taking the win from Eliot Marcon and the consistent Giuseppe Tescione.
All to play for in the last round then, and Marco Ravaglia displayed his intentions by setting an early marker of 9 laps in 5:27.214. Eliot Marcon looked to be on course to beat Marco's time, until dropping off the pace on the last two laps and ending up 1.5 seconds behind. This second round win of the day secured pole position for Ravaglia, with Mattia Polito taking third in round to secure second overall. Andrea Trevisan's earlier strong scores secured him third in the overall qualifying order, with Marcon?s two second scores getting him fourth overall.
