Qualifying report from the 1/8th IC Buggy Euros

Qualifying Report.
Boots claims TQ with ease.

Elliott Boots took his Kyosho to the Top qualifier position at this years EFRA 1/8th IC Buggy Euros with what can only be described a consummate ease.
The Englishman was fastest in 3 of the 5 qualifying rounds held over the last 2 days for a perfect score – as only a drivers best 3 results count.
However Boots was exceptionally quick in all 5 rounds to cement his reputation as a great qualifier but the reigning European champion knows he’ll face a tougher task in Saturdays 45 minute final where tyre wear and fuel consumption will also play a part.
Qualifying in 2nd was another Brit, Darren Bloomfield, the 2012 European champion was 2nd in 3 of the rounds and his consistency handed him the pole in one of the Semi Finals, working all week on set-up for the longer semi, and main final Darren has to have a major chance.
3rd qualifier was 2013 and 2014 European Champion David Ronnefalk, the Swede TQ’d one round of the qualifications but a couple of mistakes on the others prevented him from challenging for pole.
4th was the only other man to TQ one of the rounds – Davide Ongaro the junior racer backing up the huge promise he showed at last years event held at his home track the “Ongaroring”
