 Sadly for home favorite Davide Ongaro, the perfect ending to a great week of racing just wasn't meant to be as battling with Oscar Baldo in the Semi A put a dampener on his phenomenal pace. But he earned 3rd place on the grid behind Oscar and Marco Baruffolo. Well in the 20 mins before the final, heavy rain once again engulfed the track causing many drivers to make last minute tire choices. But after the opening lap battles, Cars #1 held position for pretty much the whole race, Baldo regained his 2nd spot from Alessandro Stocco, whilst Austrian Jurgen Trieb finished in 3rd.
