Thomas slowly pulled away from Alex as 3rd qualifier Luciano Di Stefano fell away, allowing the bump-up racers from the 1/8 A Final to move up. Dennis Sting started 8th in the first bump-up position and quickly started asserting his speed, moving through the field to eventually finish third behind Thomas and Alex. Unfortunately for 4th qualifier Andrea Efficace, he was unable to even start the race properly, while 7th qualifier Dominick Schoffel and 5th qualifier Mattia Lorenzetti both dropped out very early on. The big winner in this race was Dennis Sting, as he was moving up to the 1/2 A Final along with Thomas and Alex!
