 Final/Qual1/1 FISCHER STEFAN* 67 laps 2/3 SCHAFER MICHAEL* 64 laps 3/6 MUCNJACK DOMINICK* 64 laps 4/7 SPRENG HELLI 63 laps 5/5 RULLO CARLO 63 laps 6/4 NERI STEFANO 57 laps 7/2 MAY MARCUS 53 laps 8/9 HARLEY BOB 50 laps 9/8 LORETO MASSIMO laps *bump-up to 1/8th Finals Leading from flag to flag, Stefan Fischer laid down his marker as he took a very convincing win, a solid 3 laps ahead of the rest of the field, who struggled to keep up. 2nd qualifier Marcus May had problems early on, starting to fall back from the early laps as 3rd qualifier Michael Schafer took advantage, followed closely by Dominick Mucnjack. These two finished on the same lap and just several seconds apart, showing how close the race could have been. Waiting to spring on any mistake from the top 3 were 4th and 5th place finishers Helli Spreng and Carlo Rullo, who finished with an even lower space between them on the track but still a lap down on Michael and Dominick. In the end it was Stefan who was all grins as he stepped down from the rostrum, knowing he had a good chance in his upcoming 1/8 Final.
