 Joyful scenes here as Frederic Bourillon and his mechanic celebrate TQing the final two rounds of qualifying. Frederic put his success down to how well his car is running, and thanks his pit team, they changed their set up slightly to achieve the pace they were looking for. But it's also clear his cool driving style is an important part of this package. The fantastic track here in Monaco is very fast, not particularly technical but as Frederic points out, it's surprising how much time you loose if you make contact with the curbs! |
 Young Leo Arnold also made his best time of the day in round 6 a little behind Frederic with 26 laps in 7:01.620 minutes. His best round before that was round 1 and he will start on pole in the ½ final B with Quentin Leroux behind him. Leo says he wants to try to take it easy in the semi, 'I will just try not to break the car and then if I make the final I will give a good fight in the last 15 minutes.'
Frederic on the other hand says he's still not sure what his strategy will be for tyres, he said, 'Only one mistake and everything can be finnished!"
