The XXXII EFRA ECA at Fehring is live

The biggest event in EFRA has already started in Fehring Austria
The XXXII EFRA European Championship A at the 1/8th IC Off Road, the friendly Section, is already on its way here at Fehring Austria.
Following an EFRA AGM democratic decision we have come back to Austria where we held the 2009 Euros at Wölbling, a fantastic event. Now we are in Styria region south east of Austria.
This event seems to go in a similar mood, towards a fantastic level thanks to the efforts of WMW, the local club, and the important help of the OFMAV (the Austrian Federation). The club has raised its organizing skills and everything is running quite smooth with a good, and great, working team at all areas: Race Direction (thanks Alex & Thomas), Technical Inspection (good job & thanks) Cafeteria (excellent) and of course track side with the Walter family making their best for the event.
The event cant be a great one without the press, and so that I have to express my special thanks to the media present from the first day and the ones yet to arrive, so that special thanks to Neobuggy, Justbuggy, Automodelisme and RedRc, obvioulsy EFRA Media partner is included.
There is more media present, the printed one mostly, thanks to them as well.
We are all helping to make the Sport and EFRA bigger and better and positive approaches to fair RCracing are always welcome.
To make the Sport and EFRA bigger and better we have to acknowledge the support of the industry as well:
The presence of the Industry here is massive and really asthonizing with representatives coming from other blocs and cultures but everyone willing to attend the biggest European Official event of the year in this class.
The list is a never ending one but among those present I woud like to highlight the presence of the ones I am able to remember actually: On the Car manufacturer side Mr Jurj Hudy from XRAY, Mr John Yves Ferte & Mr Chris Moore from MUGEN, Mr. Yuichi Kanai from KYOSHO, Mr. Adam Drake & Kevin Gaham from TeamLOSI, Mr Scott Yang from SWORKS, Mr. Miura from Hot Bodies (HPI), Mr Richard "the king" Saxton from ASSOCIATED, Mr Andy Kramer from LRP, Mr. Joseph Quadragne from JQracing and the represntative of AGAMA.
The importance of the Engine manufacturer side is also quite high with Mr. Alberto Picco from PICCO Engines, Mr Bernard Durand giving support to NOVAROSSI, Mr. Mario Rossi helping the REDS engines, the representative from OS Japan arrived directly from Japan for this event, Mr Eric Aita from RB engines and Mr. Hazlewood from BULLIT.
The tyre side is another important segment of our industry an their interest is clearly demonstrate with the presence of BETA, ProCircuit with Mr. Ibars, AKA with Mark Pavidis, JConcepts with Mr. John Piant and GRP with Mr. Gandini.
Nevertheless a big number of other industry side representatives are present like aftermarket part makers or Fuel producers and distributors and shops to support the event. Thanks to all of them for helping EFRA the Event and all drivers present.
Anyhow I might have miss someone, it has not been my intention...
We are actually running the controlled practice and later this afternoon we will have the opening ceremony. everyone is welcome.
Stay tuned to EFRA media and you will be able to feel the race nearly as if you where here.
Yours in the sport
Carlos Gomez
