Hello drivers ...
February has passed and the racing season is here.
The first EFRA EC will be next month at France, electric track
1/12 scale, good luck to everyone attending this race.
Your EFRA Board has already meet in Frankfurt and developed a
serious amount of work during more than 20 hours considering
EFRA matters and focussing lines for the next coming months.
The 2003 handbook is already on the prints, if you are willing
to have one of those please don not hesitate in contact the
EFRA Treasurer Jean Luc Retornaz in order to obtain your
personal copy (driving licence holders are directly entitled
to get one handbook with his licence).
Youth Award ...
One of the novelties of this season is the "EFRA Youth
Driver Award" at European Championships in all classes,
drivers entitled for this award are those younger than 16
years old at the day of the race.
Many drivers at the 1:10 IC Euro ...
As a novelty from last AGM it has been realised that the
EFRA 1/10 Scale IC Track event will be a large event with more
than 180 drivers, so that 2 of our events will be pretty large
ones requiring a big effort from the organizers, which luckily
they have agreed.
FEMCA Mufflers ...
Other important news are the deleting on the 2003 handbook
of the FEMCA mufflers which were valid only up to 31-12-2002
and the creation of lists for 1/10 Electric track on bodies
and batteries.
PR Guidlines ...
The recommended guidelines for public relations at EFRA
main events have been distributed to the Section Chairmen and
a regular program to contact to magazines has been instituted
to develop the relationship with the EFRA media.
New Contacts ...
On the Monday following our committee meeting some of your
board members assist to the Nuremberg Toy fair with a large
road trip under the snow and a busy day keeping and
establishing contacts with industry and sport enthusiasts. It
has been consider a hard and successful activity in order to
promote EFRA and its activities towards manufacturers all over
the world.
Please, keep on visiting our EFRA site
http://www.efra.se for news and information, you
and your friends are always welcome.
Keep on racing
Yours
Carlos Gomez
